43-14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
09-2:8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, and he hath set the world upon them.
10-22:16 And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
13-16:30 Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.
18-18:18 He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.
18-34:13 Who hath given him a charge over the earth? or who hath disposed the whole world?
18-37:12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth.
19-9:8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
19-17:14 From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
19-18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.
19-19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
19-22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.
19-24:1 The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
19-33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
19-49:1 Hear this, all ye people; give ear, all ye inhabitants of the world:
19-50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fulness thereof.
19-73:12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
19-77:18 The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
19-89:11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.
19-90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
19-93:1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.
19-96:10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
19-96:13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
19-97:4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
19-98:7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
19-98:9 Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
20-8:26 While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
21-3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
23-13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
23-14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
23-14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.
23-18:3 All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.
23-23:17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.
23-24:4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
23-26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.
23-26:18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
23-27:6 He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
23-34:1 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
23-38:11 I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
23-45:17 But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end.
23-62:11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
23-64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.
24-10:12 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
24-25:26 And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
24-51:15 He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.
25-4:12 The kings of the earth, and all the inhabitants of the world, would not have believed that the adversary and the enemy should have entered into the gates of Jerusalem.
34-1:5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
40-4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
40-5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
40-12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
40-13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
40-13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
40-13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
40-13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40-13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
40-13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
40-16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
40-18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
40-24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
40-24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
40-24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
40-25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
40-26:13 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.
40-28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
41-4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
41-8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
41-10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
41-14:9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.
41-16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
42-1:70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began:
42-2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
42-4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.
42-9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?
42-11:50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
42-12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
42-16:8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
42-18:30 Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.
42-20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
42-20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
43-1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
43-1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
43-1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
43-3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
43-3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
43-3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
43-4:42 And said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Christ, the Saviour of the world.
43-6:14 Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.
43-6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
43-6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
43-7:4 For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world.
43-7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.
43-8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
43-8:23 And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
43-8:26 I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
43-9:5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
43-9:32 Since the world began was it not heard that any man opened the eyes of one that was born blind.
43-9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.
43-10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
43-11:9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.
43-11:27 She saith unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.
43-12:19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.
43-12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
43-12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
43-12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
43-12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
43-13:1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.
43-14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
43-14:19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
43-14:22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
43-14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
43-14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
43-14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.
43-15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
43-15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
43-16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
43-16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
43-16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
43-16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
43-16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
43-16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
43-17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
43-17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
43-17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
43-17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
43-17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
43-17:13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
43-17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
43-17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
43-17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
43-17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
43-17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
43-17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
43-17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
43-17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
43-18:20 Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.
43-18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
43-18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.
43-21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.
44-3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
44-11:28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
44-15:18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
44-17:6 And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also;
44-17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
44-17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
44-19:27 So that not only this our craft is in danger to be set at nought; but also that the temple of the great goddess Diana should be despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worshippeth.
44-24:5 For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
45-1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
45-1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
45-3:6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
45-3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
45-4:13 For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
45-5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
45-5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
45-10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
45-11:12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
45-11:15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
45-12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
45-16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
46-1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
46-1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
46-1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
46-1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
46-2:6 Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
46-2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
46-2:8 Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
46-2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
46-3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
46-3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
46-3:22 Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;
46-4:9 For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.
46-4:13 Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.
46-5:10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
46-6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
46-7:31 And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.
46-7:33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.
46-7:34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.
46-8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
46-8:13 Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.
46-10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
46-11:32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.
46-14:10 There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification.
47-1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
47-4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
47-5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
47-7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
48-1:4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
48-4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
48-6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
49-1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
49-1:21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
49-2:2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
49-2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
49-3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
49-3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
49-6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
50-2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

58-11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
59-1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
59-2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
59-3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
59-4:4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
60-1:20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
60-5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
61-1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
61-2:5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;
61-2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

62-2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
62-2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
62-3:1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
62-3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
62-4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
62-4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
62-4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
62-4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
62-4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
62-4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
